Challem was born in Zoeterwoude (The Netherlands) in 1994 and started playing the piano at the age of 8. As he is on a continuous journey to explore life, Challem’s music speaks to many due to its honesty; it feels as though his music can be read like a diary. His emotions, voice, movement, and reactions are communicated through his piano. It’s an instinctive phase where thoughts reach out and lucidly guide him. In the fall of 2021, he found himself in a small room with a piano. His thoughts were ready to be translated into music; this burst of inspiration lasted three months and resulted in a double EP (Aparigraha & Santosha) of 13 compositions, where he embraced the concept of non-greed and non-attachment. This was the beginning of a search for his inner voice.
